ElenaSalvagiani: Portfolio - Corsa all'Anello Di Narni, Le Dame del Terziere Fraporta

Dal momento che per metà sono Narnese, il 3, il 7 e il 10 e l'11 di maggio ho avuto il piacere e l'onore di "lavorare" per il mio adorato Terziere Fraporta di Narni. Durante la festa ci si trova ad "affrontare" diverse rievocazioni storiche tra le quali : processione nel giorno del Santo Patrono , investitura dei Cavalieri che rappresenteranno il terziere durante la Corsa all' Anello e il due Cortei storici, uno il sabato sera precedente alla corsa e quello della domenica appena prima della gara.

Quest'anno, dunque, mi sono arruolata volontaria per occuparmi insieme ad altre due truccatrici del make-up delle dame durante queste quattro importanti revocazioni; Quando sono arrivata alla Sartoria del terziere il 3 maggio mi è stato illustrato quello che avrei dovuto realizzare; guardando attentamente alcuni affreschi e dipinti sacri del Medioevo (Giotto, Daddi, Cimabue...) abbiamo notato che le Madonne rappresentate avevano una linea nera allungata piuttosto netta lungo la rima cigliare superiore e delle ombre molto naturali.

Prendendo spunto da queste immagini abbiamo deciso per una sottile linea di eye- liner e ombretti sui toni neutri per ricreare delle ombre naturali, sul viso polvere di riso per rendere l'incarnato di un pallido nobiliare e bronzer per le ombre del viso, un leggerissimo velo di blush e rossetto sui toni caldi del marrone.

Nelle giornate di sabato 3 e mercoledì 4 mi sono trovata ad accuparmi da sola della realizzazione del makeup delle dame del terziere mentre per il corteo del sabato 10 e di domenica 11, dato il notevole aumento delle donne partecipanti alla manifestazione, ho lavorato in sincro con altre due bravissime e simpaticissime truccatrici del posto.

Durante queste giornate mi sono divertita moltissimo ma ho anche faticato tanto; è stata un'esperienza fantastica che spero di poter rifare anche nei prossimi anni!

Since I'm half "Narnese" on may the 3rd,7th ,10th and 11th I had the honour to work for my beloved Terziere Fraporta . During the celebrations we have to face and to organize various historical reenactments as : procession in honor of the Patron Saint, investiture of knights who will represent the terziere during competition and the historical parades on saturday and on sunday just before the Corsa all'anello.

When I arrived at the Sartoria on may the 3rd, Marco Showed me some pictures from Giotto's or Daddi's paintings and, what we noticed instantly was thatthe Madonnas had an allungated black line on the upper lashline and natural shadows.

Taking the inspiration from those pics we came up to a very simple decision, a thin line of eye liner on the upper lashline, natural pigments to recreate that shadow on the eyes, rice powder to make the face skin tone paler like aristocratic womens were and tiny bit of bronzer to sculpt. On may the 3rd and the 7th I was all alone , but I was joined by two incredible muas on may the 10th an the 11th when the girls were a lot more.

During these days i really enjoyed myself, i learned a lot of things and I worked really really hard, but I hope I will do this again in the future.
